It is now, more than ever, so important that everyone washes their hands – and this includes our toddlers and young children. Here is our simple trick to make hand washing fun and engaging for your wee one!
As we all prepare for early childhood centres and schools to reopen in the coming days and weeks, it is a good time now to make sure your children spend enough time when washing their hands.
This is an excellent one for teachers to use.
It’s not the time to over complicate the process – take a song they know well and ask them to sing it every time they wash their hands, or teach them a very simple, very repetitive song (this uses Mulberry Bush as a tune) and help them practise.
Music can make any activity fun, engaging and part of a routine – even hand washing!
