Here is a simple, yet effective, idea for at home learning with Musical Play. All you need is you, your wee one and a little creativity!

Use leaves to create music patterns – start by clapping:

See how the pattern here uses one leaf for whole notes and little leaves for your quavers or half notes. This also matches the rhythm of “big little” if you aren’t familiar with those terms!
